Robert M. Dixon 75, of Pickerington, went home to be with his Lord on Saturday, May 31, 2008, surrounded by his loving family. Born to the late Monroe and Gladys (Gore) Dixon on October 13, 1932, in Logan, WV, Bob is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Janet (Banks) Dixon; daughter, Debbie (Mark) Hutsko; son, Robert Dixon; grandchildren, Tanya (Arvin) Singh, David (Dana) Hutsko, Cody Dixon, Kristin (Matt) Vondersaar; great-grandchildren, Felicity, Naya, Madison, Alexandra, Tenaya, Anna, Andrew, Aidan, Kara, and Allison. Bob retired from the Chevrolet manufacturing plant in Parma, OH. Janet and Bob moved from Brook Park, OH three years ago to Pickerington to be closer to their family. Bob and Janet are members of Jersey Baptist Church. Bob loved his family and was loyal to his many friends. He will be missed by all who knew him. Visitation will be held on Monday, June 2, 2008, 5-8 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3047 East Dublin Granville Road, Columbus, OH, with the funeral service on Tuesday, June 3, 2008, 11:00 AM at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Blendon Central Cemetery, Westerville, OH.
