Robert E. (Bob) Collins, 76, passed away on Thursday, August 7, 2008. Born to the late Lewis R. and Harriett (Flagg) Collins on August 15, 1931, in Granville, OH, Bob is survived by daughters, Melody Heath and Crystal Girlando; sister, Shirley Marie Spencer; 6 grandchildren: Joshua, Christine, Brock, Shane, Vincent and Hunter and 4 great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, and friends. He was preceded in death by his former wife, Bonnie, the mother of his daughters. Bob served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean Conflict and was a member of the American Legion. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 12, 2008, 6-8PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, NE Chapel, 3047 East Dublin Granville Road, Columbus, OH with the Funeral Service on Wednesday, August 13, 2008, at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Northlawn Memory Gardens, Westerville, OH.
