Robert C. Eversole, affectionately known as "Ever Bob," was a beloved husband father, and friend who touched the lives of many during his time on earth. Born on December 3, 1935, in Toledo, Ohio, Bob’s journey came to a peaceful close on August 28, 2024, in Columbus, Ohio, surrounded by his loving wife and family.
Bob’s professional path was marked by significant accomplishments, beginning with his education at Macomber trade school, where he studied electronics. His career saw him designing elevators for Haughton and later working with AT&T. Among his proudest moments was his involvement in the rededication of the Statue of Liberty, a testament to his dedication and hard work. Additionally, Bob played a pivotal role in founding the WPOS Christian Radio Station, a project close to his heart that reflects his deep commitment to sharing joy and peace through faith.
An active member of the Emmanuel Baptist Church in Toledo, Ohio, Bob’s faith was the foundation of his life. He was a born-again Christian, and he found profound joy in sharing the love of the Lord with others. His kind spirit and quirkiness consistently brought smiles to those around him, making him a cherished presence in every room he entered. His quick wit and humorous nature were gifts that he generously shared, brightening the lives of friends and family alike.
In his leisure time, Bob embraced life's simple pleasures. He had a knack for flying kites and found joy in tinkering away in his garage, exploring new inventions and fixings. Above all, he cherished the moments spent with his wife and family, creating memories that will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew him.
Bob was survived by his wife, Rosemary Hafner-Eversole. Preceded in death by his daughter, Ruth Ann Eversole, wife, Carol Eversole, brother, Tom Eversole, and sister, Bonnie Engelhart (Eversole).
Bob Eversole will be lovingly remembered by all who had the privilege to know him. His legacy of kindness, humor, and unwavering faith will continue to inspire those he leaves behind. A memorial service to celebrate his life will be held on August 31, 2024, at CrossPointe Church in Westerville, Ohio, providing an opportunity for family and friends to gather in remembrance of a truly remarkable man. There will be a memorial service held at a later date for those who knew him in Toledo, Ohio.
