Robert Griffith

Robert (Bob) H. Griffith , 83, of Columbus, OH, passed away September 4, 2023. Robert was born in Honaker Virginia on October 23, 1939.

He was a faithful member of Southwest Free Will Baptist Church. Robert retired from Bordens Ice Cream Co. He is preceded in death by his parents, Shade & Myrtie Griffith, loving wife Polly J Griffith of 41 years, son; John H. Griffith, stepsons; Louis R. Hansgen, Ronald E. Hansgen, Kenneth L. Hansgen, stepdaughter; Barbara J. Pridmore, brothers; Silas (Betty), Clarence (Shirley), as well as two sisters; Sarah (Ezra) Barton and Maudi Bell (Harley) Street.
He is survived by his loving family: Daughters; Rita (Tom) Ray, Anita (Ellis) Brown, Bobbie Jo (Michael) Sestito, Sons; James R. Griffith, Samuel D. (Donna) Griffith, and Stepdaughter; Teresa (John) Young, Brother; Birchard (Louise) Griffith, Sister; Judy (Doug) Bailey, and many loving grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held from 2:00 to 4:00pm and 6:00 to 8:00pm, Monday, September 11, 2023 at Southwest Free Will Baptist Church, 1542 Greenleaf Road, Columbus, OH, 43223.

Funeral services will be conducted by Pastor John Meade Sr. at 1:00pm, Tuesday, September 12, 2023 at the church. Burial will follow in Eastlawn Cemetery, Columbus, OH.
