Robert A. Harding Sr., 79, longtime Ohio resident and permanently resided in Florida, passed away Friday June 11, 2010 in McArthur. He was born September 3, 1930, in Columbus, son of the late Harold Harding and Alvera Thoma Mick. In addition to his parents, Bob was preceded in death by his grandson, Marshall R. Bowles II. He served in the Marines during the Korean Conflict and was a 50 year member of the Grand Lodge of Free and Accepted Masons of Ohio, member of the Columbus Shriners International, U.A.W. Local 969 and a Boy Scout Leader. Bob is survived by his wife, Anna M. O'Harra Harding; son, Robert A. Harding Jr.; daughter, Debra K. (David) Pollard; grandchildren, Rebecca (Johnnie) Harlor, Benjamin (Bobbie Jo) Bowles, Jennifer (Kevin) Evanichko, Luke Harding, Daniel Pollard and Krista (Martin) Foy; great grandchildren, Riley and Emma Evanichko, Marshall Dallen Bowles, Trinity Bowles, Abigail Harlor, Diana Elizabeth Bowles, Alaina, Michael and Reese Foy and many family and friends. Visitation will be Wednesday, June 16, 2010 from 2:00-7:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway Grove City, with the funeral service beginning at 7:00 PM.
