Robert Lee Harris

Robert Lee Harris, 94, born April 6, 1930 in Columbus, Ohio, son of the late Robert and Helen Harris, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 9, 2024, Bob was a 1948 graduate of South High School and a proud United States Navy Veteran. He was an electrician with the IBEW 683 and this year earned his 70 year pin. He loved spending time with his family and especially enjoyed his time in Florida with all of his wonderful friends.

Robert is preceded in death by his beloved wife of 62 years Betty Jo; son Johnny Harris; great- grandson Abel Harris, daughter-in-law Karen Harris; brothers, David Harris, Richard Harris, James Harris and Donald Harris; sisters, Betty Metz, Martha Melton.

He is survived by his children, Robert (Roberta Lambert) Harris and Eloise (David) Cassidy; five grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; brothers, Glenn Harris, Bruce (Denise) Harris; sisters, Annetta Vorys, Donna Koebel and Joyce (Henry) Cook; numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Special thanks to all the wonderful, hardworking staff at Embassy of Pickerington who took great care of him. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
