Robert C. Jewett, Sr., 78, passed away June 21, 2021 surrounded by his loving family.
He was preceded in death by son, Robert C. Jewett, Jr.; parents, Walter and Marie Jewett; brother, Howard Jewett.
Bob is survived by wife of 55 years, Blanche Jewett; children, William (Shelly) Jewett and Katherine Hart; grandchildren, Kristin (Ricky) Howbert, Justin (Krystal) Keel, Rebecca (Denis) Gourley, Samantha Gourley, and Randi (Ryan) Jewett; numerous great-grandchildren; sister, Shirley Johnson; caretaker, Joey Parsley; many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Bob loved anything to do with racing and cars. He enjoyed playing poker and smoking cigars. Bob was a big prankster, but above all loved his family. He and Blanche were known to take care of anyone that needed anything. He never knew a stranger.
Visitation Sunday, June 27, 2021 from 2-4pm at Newcomer, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH. Funeral Service Monday, June 28, 2021 at 1pm at the Funeral Home. Interment to follow at Sunset Cemetery, OH.
