Robert T. Jonas, 82, of Grove City, passed away Wednesday, June 24, 2009 at his residence. He was born June 15, 1927, in Zanesville, son of the late Henry and Cecelia Jonas. In addition to his parents, Robert was preceded in death by his 1st wife, Josephine Winks Jonas and second wife of 47 years, Lucy Andrews Jonas; granddaughter, Heather A. Stockman; brother, Jack Jonas. In addition to Grove City he also lived in Pittsburgh and Hilliard. Robert retired from White Westinghouse after 31 years of service. He is survived by his son, Ron (Peg) Margello; daughters, Beth (Harold) Stockman and Merrilee (John) Walker; granddaughters, Wendy, Meghan, Jennifer and Nicole; eleven great grandchildren. Memorial service will be Thursday, July 9, 2009 at 11:00 AM with visitation one hour prior to services at All Saints Lutheran Church 6770 N. High St. Worthington. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to HomeReach Hospice 180 E. Broad St. Columbus, Ohio 43215 or the Kidney Foundation 1373 Grandview Ave. Suite 200 Columbus, Ohio 43212.
