Robert K Sprouse, 75 of Columbus passed away at Mt. Carmel West Hospital on January 25, 2014. Born on July 23, 1938 to the late Stacy and Thelma (Thatcher) Sprouse in Columbus, Ohio.
Survived by sister, Agnes (Harold) Soppel, brother, David (Nancy) Thatcher and family, sister-in-law, Mary Sprouse, step-children, Diana (Joel) Hendricks, Daniel Duffey and Donna Carey, nieces, Patty (Robert Blunenscheid) Sprouse, Stacy Sprouse, Lynn (Philip) Downey and Ray Ellen Williams, great-niece, Andrea Williams, grandchildren, Stephanie (Rob) Heffron, Jennifer (Steve) Powers, Elizabeth (Matthew) Wallace, Crystal Pierson, Lisa Pierson, Lauryn Carey and Robert Carey, 5 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.
Preceded in death by his wife, Linda J. Sprouse and brother, Ronald Sprouse.
A Celebration of Life reception will be held from 4pm to 7pm, Thursday, January 30, 2014 at Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, with a Celebration of Life service to follow at 7pm, with Pastors Peyton Hill and Paul Pyle officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to The Highland Baptist Church, 3460 Hoover Rd., Grove City 43123.
