Robert E. Karr, 76, of Columbus passed away Monday, May 31, 2010 at Mt. Carmel West. He was born February 8, 1934, in Chicago, IL, son of the late Eric and Helen Hardy Karr. In addition to his parents, Bob was preceded in death by his daughter, Venice Karr. He served in the Navy and was a member of American Legion Post #532 and N.A.U.S. Bob is survived by his wife, Shirley Soukup Karr; son, Ron Karr; daughter, Debbie (George) Sergot; stepchildren, Gary Luszcz, Glen Luszcz and Gail (Don) Sulo; sister, Audrey Eastman; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. Visitation will be Saturday, June 5, 2010 from 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-8:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway.
