Robert Thomas Kelley "Tom"
KELLEY Robert Thomas "Tom" Kelley, age 76, passed Friday, September 18, 2009 at the Palliative Care Center of Mt. Carmel West Hospital. Tom was born June 29, 1933 to the late Clifford and Olive Kelley. He was a member of Columbus Moose Lodge #11. Tom served his country and protected our freedom as a soldier in The United States Army during the Korean War. Tom is survived by wife of 50 years, Mary D. (Bastian); two sons, Mike (Chris) Kelley of Newark, and John (Jill) Kelley of Zanesville; two grandsons, two step-grandchildren, and five step-great grandchildren. Also surviving are brothers, Francis and Nick Kelley; and sister, Marguerite Timmons, all of Kingston, Ohio; along with numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, sisters Kate Arnold and Irene Smith, and brother Carson Kelley. Family will receive friends at the Newcomers Funeral Home, 3393 Broadway Ave., Grove City, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Monday, September 21, 2009, with Loyal Order of Moose Service at 7:30 p.m. and from 10-11 a.m. Tuesday September 22, 2009, followed by Memorial Service at 11 a.m. with Pastor Steve Dupler officiating. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the charity of your choice in Tom's name. THE FRANK E. SMITH FUNERAL HOME, 405 North Columbus Street, Lancaster is handling the arrangements.
