MCCARROLL
Robert Leland McCarroll Jr., 63, passed away Sunday, May 2, 2010 after extended illness. Robert was born to Robert and Martha (Bryant) McCarroll, Sr. in Columbus on October 6, 1946, and is preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Asenath McCarroll; sisters, Norma McCarroll Stanley and Roberta Calloway; brother, Oren McCarroll; nephew, Kevin McCarroll; and niece, Martha "Marty" McCarroll. Survivors include his wife Yvette McCarroll; daughters, April Billue, Tamara Rogers, NiQuita Callahan; sons, Robert McCarroll III and Aaron McCarroll; sisters, Barbara McCarroll, Frances Woods, Elaine Porras and Linda (Prakash) Thumboli; eleven grandchildren, two great- grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, family and friends. He attended Marion Franklin High School and he was an Army veteran, serving multiple tours of duty in Vietnam. He also worked many years for General Motors.
Funeral Service Thursday, May 6, 2010 at 11 AM at New Covenant Believers' Church, 3400 Kohr Blvd., Columbus, OH 43224 with visitation one hour prior. Interment to follow at GreenLawn Cemetery, Columbus, OH. Newcomer Funeral Home, NE Chapel, was honored to serve the McCarroll family.
