Robert W. Lucas Sr.

Robert W. Lucas Sr., 72, passed away January 27, 2024. He was preceded in death by parents, Michael Lucas Jr. and Viola Easterday Lucas; siblings, Michael John Lucas, Thomas Eugene Lucas, and Cindy Lucas. Bobby is survived by former spouse, companion, and caregiver, Gerri Lucas; children, Robert W. Lucas Jr., Angel Lucas Kappel, April Lucas VanHorn, and Terry Lucas; seven grandchildren; siblings, James Lucas, Nancy Fellows, Linda Bender, Jerry Lucas, and Michael A. Lucas; many nieces and nephews.
Bobby was a member of Harley Owners Group and A.F.L.C.I.O. He enjoyed building cars from the ground up and taught himself how to play the keyboard and guitar. Bobby worked as an electrician for Wheeling Pittsburgh Steel for 35 years. After he left the mill, he obtained his Journeyman's license.
Per his wishes, there will be no public services. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to the American Fallen Soldiers Project at https://www.americanfallensoldiers.com/donate.html
