Robert L. McGee, Jr. of Grove City died unexpectedly February 7, 2021.
Bob is survived by his longtime girlfriend and partner, Annie Norris; sons, Robert (Deidra) McGee, III of Ashville, Joseph (Megan) McGee of Carrollton; daughters, Marielle McGee of Columbus, Molly McGee and Marla McGee, both of Grove City; step-children, James Norris and Jessica (Lee) Rotheram of Grove City; grandsons, Zachery Ward-McGee of Groveport and Breece McGee of Carrollton; many, many special nieces and nephews; innumerable friends and his special kitty, Puddin'.
Bob is also survived by his sister, Sandra Chafins of Reynoldsburg; brother, David Michael (Kim) Keeton of Hillsboro, sisters, Barbara Nobile of Gahanna and Linda Chapman of Groveport; special friends Mark and Sandy Hensley, KJ and Mary Lecrone and Greg and Kelly Bryant.
Bob is preceded in death by his parents, Robert L. McGee and Gracie (George) Keeton.
Although Bob had retired after 30 years of employment with the Kroger Bakery in Columbus, he was also an entrepreneur and owned several businesses over the years, including Allied Towing and Central Ohio Funeral Escort. He was never happier than when he was working and was always looking for the next opportunity. He loved his family, his life and his country. Our hearts are heavy. He will be missed by all that knew him.
Visitation Sunday, Feb. 14, 2021 from 1-6pm at Newcomer SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH. Celebration of Life Monday Feb. 15, 2021 at 11am at the Funeral Home. Burial to follow at Resurrection Cemetery, Lewis Center. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to your local Humane Society.
