Robert Miller

Robert Lee Miller, age 93 of Columbus, passed away on July 3, 2021. He was born on April 28, 1928 to the late Walter and Lucille Miller in Columbus, OH. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Marlene Miller and brother Richard Miller. Robert was drafted in 1950 with the Army and served during the Korean Conflict. He was a member of the AMVETS Post 89, Moose Lodge 1427 and retired after 29 years with the U.S. Post Office. He enjoyed camping, reading, loved trains, and going to the shooting range. He took the first Honor Flight for the opening of the Korean War Memorial. Robert is survived by children William (Elsa) Miller, Karen (Mark) Blakley, Patricia (Todd) Thorson, Timothy (Lori) Miller and Brenda Balasico, step children Kimm Burcham, Teresa Burcham and James (Kristy) Burcham, several grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Friends may call at Newcomer, NE Chapel, 3047 E. Dublin Granville Rd., Columbus, OH on Friday, July 16, 2021 from 11:00 am until time of service at 1:00pm.

Burial to follow at Glen Rest Memorial Gardens, Reynoldsburg, OH.
