Robert Miller

Robert "Bob" Miller, 76, passed away after a farming accident. He was preceded in death by biological parents, Carl A. Miller and Maxine Smith and step-parents, Marie and Lee Drummond; brother, Eugene Miller; sisters, Patricia and Lucetta Miller. Bob is survived by wife of 29 years, Jennifer Miller; children, Richard and Genna Miller; grandchildren, Jody Harless Jr. and Amber Miller; three great-grandchildren, especially Kamryn Harless; siblings, Kermit (Sylvia) Miller, Paul Miller, Chuck (Linda) Miller, Randy Tabor, Betty Paskins, Brenda (Scott) McKee, and Eddie (Dawn) Smith; step-siblings, Eugene (Sharon) Drummond, Bertha Mae (Ronnie) Miller, and Arnold (Nellie Walker) Drummond; numerous nieces and nephews, other extended family and friends.

Bob's passions were golfing, horseback riding, camping, UK basketball, Ohio State football and Cincinnati Reds. He enjoyed spending time with family and helping friends. Bob liked to listen to old country music while tinkering in his garage.

Bob came to Columbus after attending Waterloo High School and worked for Oddie's SOHIO, leaving there he worked for Ohio Malleable. When they went out of business, he went to Silatech's in South Carolina. Coming back to Columbus, Bob worked for Columbus Steel Drum after which he then retired from Griffin Wheel.

Visitation Saturday, Aug. 20, 2022 from 1pm until the time of Funeral Service at 3pm at Newcomer, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH. Bob will be privately interred at Fairview Missionary Baptist Church cemetery in Willow Wood, OH.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Bob's memory to Memorials Processing, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Pl., Memphis, TN 38105-9959.
