Robert L Morris, Sr.

Robert L.Morris, age 74, of Canal Winchester, Ohio, passed away surrounded by family on December 12, 2021. He was born August 9,1947,to Allen and Reba Morris. Robert was an Army Veteran and fought in the Vietnam War where he was awarded several metals for his service. Robert was a skilled tradesmen and there was not a thing he didn't know how to fix including the occasional broken heart. Robert was a caring man that gave great advice. Robert loved fishing, woodworki ng but his true passion was his childhood sweetheart, Doris.

Roberts best days were the ones where family gathered,played cards and no one liked a good joke more than Robert. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Doris Morris,children, Robert Morris (Marybeth), Ginger Harris (Allen), Christopher Morris (Cindy), grandchildren, Ashley,Tasha,Joseph, Mikala, Corey, Robert, Codey, Devyn,several great­ grandchildren,his brother Jerry, sister Norma and many nieces,nephews, friends that became family and his best bud, Bagel the Beagle.

Friends may call at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH on Monday, December 20, 2021 from 11:00am until time of service at 1:00pm. Burial to follow at Union Grove Cemetery, Canal Winchester, OH.
