Robert "Doug" Morton Jr., 82, of Hilliard, Ohio, passed away February 28, 2022. He was born on September 1, 1939 in New Boston, Ohio to the late Robert Sr. and Essie (White) Morton.
He is preceded in death by his parents; wife of 57 years, Georgia (Jo); siblings, James Morton, Betty Garrett.
Surviving family includes, daughters, Jo Ellen (Chris) Morton-Conrad, Cheri Clark; grandchildren, Christi Sineath, Jeff Woods, Ashley Woods, Reid Conrad, Drake Conrad; four great-grandchildren; half-siblings, Becky, Jonathan, Joseph.
After attending High School, Robert joined the United States Air Force. After serving six years, he joined the National Guard where he continued to serve for over 20 years. Robert retired from Ohio Bell after over 30 years of service. He spent his retirement days living in Florida with his wife, Jo.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, March 14, 2022 at 12:30 pm at Sunset Cemetery, 6959 W Broad St, Galloway, OH 43119.
