Robert M. Osborne, 71, of Thornville, Ohio, passed away at his residence on August 8, 2022. He was born October 23, 1950, in Columbus, Ohio, to Robert W. and Catherine Y. (Miller) Osborne.
Mike, or "Oz", was a 1969 graduate of Liberty Union High School in Baltimore, Ohio. He became a plumber and worked with his father and brothers. He later worked at Rockwell and other plumbing companies. Mike proudly served in the United States Navy.
Mike loved sports and music. In the 70s he played in a rock band with friends. He continued to sing karaoke often at Eagles in Buckeye Lake and Moose in Thornville.
Mike is survived by his son, Robert M. Osborne Jr., his grandson, Matthew (Jessie) Severing, his brothers Gary Osborne of Lancaster, Terry (Karen) Osborne of Gainesville, Fl. and Mark Osborne of Melrose, Fl., niece, nephews, former wife Wilma (Sparks) Osborne, and other family and close friends.
Caring cremation is being provided by Newcomer Funeral Home.
