Robert Pearl "Bob" Osborne Jr., passed away peacefully at the age of 86 on Tuesday, December 8, 2020 surrounded by family at home in Canal Winchester, Ohio.
He was born on August 11, 1934 in South Zanesville, Ohio. The eldest son to Robert Pearl and Geraldine Elnora (Smith) Osborne, Sr.
He retired from Owens-Corning in Newark, Ohio after 35 years. In his younger years, he was a jack of all trades in the construction business. He built the family home where his children were raised.
Renovating homes was his foremost hobby, his greatest gratitude was to extend help to others during hard times.
He was a member of the American Legion Post #29, Zanesville - Ohio. He was an avid fan of all of Cleveland Sports teams, his number one was The Ohio State Buckeyes football. He loved to play cards, crosswords, and work on puzzles.
Bob leaves behind his children, James (Barbara) Osborne of Pataskala, Rhonda (Tom) Rose of Columbus, Timothy (Terri) Osborne of Newark, Marlissa (Daniel) Wheeler of Canal Winchester, Joetta (Randell) Kiger of Newark, and Bobby "Joe" (LeRoy) Osborne-Payne of Blacklick; his step children, Tamara Cullins of Dresden, and Deborah German of Reynoldsburg; 20 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren; his brother, Jerry (Susan) Osborne of Canal Winchester; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Bob was preceded in death by his first wife, Faye Ann (Allman) Osborne and second wife, Marcia Anne (Woodrow) Osborne; parents, Robert Sr. and Geraldine Osborne; brothers, Richard, Kenneth, Daryle Osborne; one step daughter, Nancie Mayle, and one great grandson, Brenden Rice.

Family will hold a private visitation and he will be laid to rest with his first wife at Newark Memorial Gardens; 4244 Marion Rd NE, Newark, OH 43055.
