He is preceded in death by his parents, John and Inez Darnell. Surviving family includes, children, Lori (Randy) Adair, Rob (Angie) Darnell, Sheri Sharron, John (Becky) Darnell, grandchildren, Michael, Brooke, Joshua, Travis, D.J. Cole, Sydney, Colin, Aubrey, Ava and cousin, Jim (Bev) Dearth.
A gathering of family and friends will be held from 6:00 to 8:00pm, Thursday, April 11, 2013 at Newcomer Funeral Home and Crematory, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH.
