Robert R. Santa Sr.

Robert R. Santa Sr., 71, of Johnstown, Ohio, was surrounded with love when he went to be with the Lord on February 19, 2021 after a courageous battle with cancer. Bob was born on December 8, 1949 in Columbus, Ohio to Robert and Lois Santa. Bob was an avid Cleveland sports fan, enjoyed Putt Putt, bowling (300 club), zoo visits, great music, dancing, classic cars and taking care of his birds. He was a ladies man who had a natural ability to care for and connect with others and truly enjoyed spending time with his family, friends and loved ones. Bob will be deeply missed by his children, Robert (Kerry) Santa, Tami (Nicolette) Cole-Santa and Austin (Angelica) Santa; grandchildren Courteney, Justin, Pyper and Dax; his best dog Angel and countless friends and loved ones. Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Santa and Lois Dolinsky, step-father Steve Dolinsky, as well as his two sisters, Gloria Santa and Sharon Wellnitz. Family and friends whose lives Bob impacted are invited to a short celebration of life service at 6:30pm on Thursday, February 25, followed by a gathering at Adventure Church, 5542 Columbus Pike, Lewis Center 43035, all are welcome. In lieu of flowers, donations encouraged at Hospiceofcentralohio.org. They were tremendous in Bob's journey home.
