Robert Slivinski

SLIVINSKI Robert "Bob" J. Slivinski, age 75, of Columbus, passed away on Friday, October 21, 2022. A native of Wilkes-Barre Pennsylvania, Bob was born on July 9, 1947, to the late Helen "Holly" (Holodnak) and Alfred F. Slivinski, Sr. A 1965 graduate of Bishop Watterson High School, he was a proud veteran of the United States Marine Corps. Reserves. Bob retired after a long career at Mail Sort, Inc. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister, Debora Bain, and the love of his life, Connie Harrison. Bob is survived by his brother and sister-in-law, Alfred and Dianne Slivinski of Galena; sister Donna Milacek of Columbus; nephew Shawn Slivinski of Ann Arbor; niece Heather (Terry) Baker of Columbus; nephew Joseph (Emily) Milacek of Powell, great-niece Amber Slivinski of Westerville, special "family" Cliff and Krista Clemons, plus many other "family" and friends. Family will receive friends one hour before the funeral service to be held 2 p.m. Wednesday, November 2, 2022, at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME SOUTHWEST, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH 43123, 614-539-6166, with Pastor Ted McFaddin officiating. Committal Service with Military Honors will be held at Grove City Cemetery immediately following the funeral service.
