Robert A. Stein, 86, of Columbus, went home to be with the Lord on November 16, 2021. Robert was born September 3, 1935 in Columbus, OH to Clarence and Vermilia (Kiser) Stein.
He proudly served in the United States Air Force and Army. Robert enjoyed working for Columbus Public Schools as a bus driver.
Robert will be deeply missed by his wife Freda (Timberlake) Stein of 44 years; children Brian (Erica), Rebecca, Robin (Kevin), Robert C., David (Jarae), Jack, adoptive son Demetrius Burston; grandchildren Davion, Fashion, Chrissy, Isaiah, ReNeece, Daliah, Bellah, Briah, Brilynn, Brian Jr.; great-grandchildren Cezaray, Shakira, Seventh; sister Carol Stein; nephews Michael and Tim and aunt Kate.
Robert was preceded in death by his parents and Uncle Wallace Kiser.
Visitation will be Friday, November 19, 2021, from 4pm until the time of service at 5pm at Newcomer NE Chapel, 3047 E. Dublin Granville Rd. Columbus.
