Robert "Bob" Carl Stitt, Jr.

Robert C. Stitt, Jr, 62, went home to be with the Lord 12/19/24. He was born in Columbus, Ohio to Robert C. and Jeanette (Sulzer) Stitt Sr. Survived by his loving wife of 20 years, Mary Beth, Sisters Cathy, Karen (Troy), Brother Greg (Karen). Preceded in death by his sister Connie. 

Also survived by daughters, Ashley (James), Tabitha (Andrew); grandsons, Camden and Beau; nieces, nephews, extended family and friends, that he loved, too numerous to list.

He was a carpenter with Carpenter’s Union Local 200 for over 43 years, and was an admired and respected man by all he met. 

He loved playing Texas Hold’em and was a state champion. He was an animal lover, both dogs and cats, an avid Cleveland Browns and OSU Buckeye fan. 

He will be missed by all.

Immediate family will greet friends and family from 4 to 6 pm, Thursday, January 2, 2025, at Newcomer Northeast, 3047 E. Dublin-Granville Rd, Columbus, Ohio 43231. A service to honor Bob’s life will be held at 11 am, Friday, January 3, 2025, at Newcomer Northeast. Burial to follow at Green Mound Cemetery, Kilbourne, Ohio.
