Robert Sterling Updegraff, 78, of Grove City, passed away December 27, 2006. He was preceded in death by his parents, Sterling and Lorraine (Parker) Updegraff; brothers, Don and Joe and sister, Ruth. Robert is survived by his wife, Dixie Updegraff; children, Robert (Jean) Updegraff of Westerville, Steve (Cathy) Updegraff of Upper Arlington, Rick (Julie) Hale of Obetz, Randy (Mary) Hale of Lewisville, TX., Duane (Andy) Hale of Flower Mound, TX., Russ (Holly) Hale of Lewis Center, Robin (Jack) Reed of Corinth, TX., Rebecca Green of Galloway; 18 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Robert was a veteran of the U.S. Army and a member of the Amvets. He retired from the State of Ohio. Visitation will be held 4:00-8:00PM Friday, December 29, 2006 at Newcomer Funeral Home, Southwest Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, Ohio 43123. Funeral services will be held 10:00AM Saturday, December 30, 2006 at the funeral home. Interment will be at Concord Cemetery. Messages of condolence may be left at www.NewcomerFamily.com
