Robert (Bob) W. Parsons (95 years old).

Bob was born on July 20 1929 in Parkersburg, West Virginia to the late Wilbur and Katherine (Johnson) Parsons.

He passed away at home on Thursday, January 30 2025.

He is survived by his 3 children: Michael (Paula) of League City Texas, Brenda Slay of Powell, OH, and Randi (Scott) Hornback of Clayton, North Carolina. 3 Grandchildren: David (Jennifer) Keiser of Westerville, OH (Brenda), Brittany (Tyler) Butts of Middlesex, NC (Randi), and Kyle Hornback of Clayton NC (Randi). 3 Great Grandchildren: Eleanor (Ellie) Betty Keiser (David), Greyson James and Brandon Scott Butts (Brittany). Several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Dottie, his parents, and his son in law, Clifford Slay.

Bob was a 50+ year member of York Lodge #563 F&AM, Columbus Commandry #69, Past Masters Unit of the Aladdin Shrine, George L Behrens #504 Order of the Eastern Star and numerous other Masonic bodies.

Bob was an Air Force veteran during the Korean War stationed in Washington D.C. He later worked for North American then Western Electric. He retired from Western Electric in 1988.

His funeral will be at the Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens Chapel at 5600 East Broad Street, Columbus, OH 43213 on Saturday, February 15, 2025.

Visitation will be from 11 am to noon with a Masonic Service and funeral to follow immediately.
