LOCKARD
Robert W. Lockard, 77, of Columbus, passed away on Friday, May 30, 2008, surrounded by his loving family. Born to Russell and Marie (Schulze) Lockard on November 23, 1930, in Columbus, Bob was preceded in death by his father. Survivors include his mother, Marie; wife, Shirley (Adkins) Lockard; daughters, Robin (Charles) Krouse and Lisa Lockard; sister, Donna (Vic) Friedrich; grandchild, Chasity and great-grandchild, Cheyenne; numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of friends and family. Bob served with the US Army during the Korean Conflict and worked for Alltel Corporation for 34 years and retired in 1995. Visitation will be held on Monday, June 2, 2008, 5-8 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH with the funeral service on Tuesday, June 3, 2008, 11:00 AM at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Grove City Cemetery.
