Robert W. McGee, 82, of Columbus passed away March 5, 2011. He was born April 2, 1928 in Lancaster, SC. He was preceded in death by his parents, Smiley and Armetta McGee; wife Carol McGee; son, Robert W. McGee; grandson, Robert M. McGee; and several siblings. Robert is survived by his children, Michael A. (Debbie) McGee, Joyce A. Pless, Tina (Chris) Gillum and Larry W. McGee; sister, Eva Canning; sister-n-law, Mary McGee; and several grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Robert is a proud veteran of the U.S. Army, where he served as a medic. Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Tuesday, March 8, 2011 at Newcomer Funeral Home SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH 43123. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, March 9, 2011 at the funeral home. Burial at Sunset Cemetery.
