Robert Whiteman

Robert "Bob" Whiteman, age 76 of Columbus, OH, passed away on March 21, 2022. He was born on March 13, 1946 to the late Robert and Dorothy (Cookson) Whiteman in Columbus, OH. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by aunt Ruthie Drake and cousin Julie Drake Alfred. Bob is survived by his loving wife of 46 years MJ Whiteman, daughters Kortney (Randall) Wemple and Katelyn (Ryan) Curry, grandchildren Nicholas, Jackson, Kinsley and Blake Wemple and Callie Curry, his beloved dog Hank, cousin Dr. James A. (Magali) Drake and brother Frederick (Becky) Whiteman.

Bob loved all sports especially softball and Ohio State Football. He had a passion for politics and loved his country. Fondest memories were watching his daughters play softball, he was their biggest fan. He was a 1964 graduate of Eastmore High School where he played football, wrestling, and shot put. He was also a softball coach with HTAA.
