Robert B. "Bob" Wilson, 81, of Grove City, Ohio, passed away on September 1, 2023. He was born on January 25, 1942, in Williamson, West Virginia, to the late Robert W. Wilson and Lou Virginia Farley.
Bob graduated from New Albany High School in 1960, where he was essential in the success of the 1959 Semi-State Champion and 1960 Regional Champion basketball teams. He received many awards, including all-county and many write-ups in the Columbus Dispatch.
Bob was a methodical and disciplined individual who excelled in his career. He went on to apply his mechanical and supervisory skills within the water and coffee industry.
Outside of work, Bob had numerous interests including history, documentaries, sports, music, movies and television. He enjoyed golfing, bowling, fishing and coaching Little League baseball. He found solace and joy in these activities, often spending time with loved ones and friends. An avid Ohio State fan, he never missed a football or basketball game.
Bob will be remembered as a faithful husband, loyal friend and a genuine, honest and trustworthy man. He was an always-present father who always held to his principles. An outstanding role-model and reliable man, he will be remembered as a good listener and selfless individual. He was family-oriented and cherished his loved ones dearly.
He is survived by his devoted wife, Patricia A. Wilson, who he had been married to since December 17, 1960, and his sons, Robert A. Wilson and David T. Wilson, as well as many nieces and nephews.
In this time of grief, we extend our deepest condolences to the Wilson family. May they find comfort in the memories they shared with Bob and in the support of their friends and community.
