Robin Yvonne was born in Columbus, Ohio on March 30, 1959, the third of six children, to Wanda and Robert Harshbarger. She graduated from Central High School and later received a certificate from Columbus Technical Institute (now Columbus State). She retired from Mt. Carmel Hospital after 34 years. Robin was mother to two daughters, Aggie and Amy, and grandmother to Mackenzie and Little Ricky (or Bubba).
Robin loved: pepperoni pizzas, boy bands, BINGO, movies, the color red, lottery tickets, the casino, and most of all her family. Robin was a woman and a half who knew that life could change in 30 seconds. She could eat ice cream naked in the middle of a blizzard, and knew that it takes all kinds to make a world. She's been driving longer than you've been alive, so don't give her any crap. Always able to find the humor in any situation, Robin was generous and deeply loved.
Robin passed away April 9, 2022 after two years of struggle with metastatic kidney cancer. She died peacefully at home, surrounded by family and friends. Robin was preceded in death by her mother, Wanda Augusta Roderick Harshbarger, father Robert Raymond Harshbarger, and daughter, Amy Rene Kempton. She is survived by, daughter Augusta Rose Toppins (Jason Meyer), granddaughter Mackenzie Jordan Kempton, grandson Ricardo Manuel Acuna Jr, sister Deidra Jo Harshbarger, and a host of chosen family: Tammy Rosemarie Acuna, Mario Antonio Acuna, Kylie Nikole Acuna, Mario Antonio Acuna Jr., Gigi Millington and family, Cynthia Whiteside and family, Jeanine Scott, Samantha "Moxie" Fisher, the Cutright family, the McKee family, Rachel Lake, Jen and Kia, friends at Mount Carmel, and many others.
