Robin R. Thompson, 66, of Grove City, passed away on Wednesday, December 30, 2009. Robin was born to Richard and Mary E. (Irvin) Thompson in Columbus, OH., on December 18, 1943, and is preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include his daughters, Lisa (Jeffrey) Will and Rochelle (Jesse) Chapa; sisters, Marilyn Weidner and Carol (Robert) Wheeler; brother, Richard (Mary) Thompson; grandchildren, William Conway, Jr., Michael Conway, Derek Will, Jessica Chapa, Misty Chapa and Megan Chapa; 4 great-grandchildren; special friend, Barbara Workman; nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends. Robin was an avid gardener, wonderful father and grandfather, and enjoyed home remodeling. Visitation will be held on Friday, January 1, 2010, 5-8 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH with the Funeral Service on Saturday, January 2, 2010, 1:00 PM. Interment will follow at Green Lawn Cemetery.
