Robin Sue Carter, age 56, of Columbus, went home to be with the Lord Jesus Christ on Saturday, April 6, 2013, after a long and courageous battle with cancer and seizures. She was born April 5, 1957 in Columbus, OH.
Robin was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Smith and father-n-law, Clyde Carter.
Survived by her loving and devoted husband of 14 years 7 months, Thom; step-son, Christian; mother-n-law, Wanda Carter; and many brothers-n-law and sisters-n-law. She is also survived by brothers, Jerry (Tracy) Wray and Donald "Tinker" Moore; sisters, Terry Wray and Margaret Moran and many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins and her church family.
Robin loved the Lord with all her heart, and was a faithful member of Southwest Freewill Baptist Church since 2000. She was a member of the Ladies Fellowship group of the church. She blessed all who knew her and will be missed very much by everyone whose lives she touched with her joyful spirit.
Visitation will be held from 4:00 PM until time of service at 6:00 PM Tuesday, April 9, 2013, at Newcomer Funeral Home SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH 43123. Pastor John Meade and Malcolm Schoener will be officiating.
In Lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the family at the services.
