Roderick "Rocky" Huston, 72, passed away at Kobacker House, February 15, 2012. He was born November 30, 1939. Rocky was preceded in death by his parents, Marvin and Beulah Huston, siblings, Carolyn, Gary, Tom and Susie. He is survived by his loving wife, Sharon; children, Roderick (Cherry) "Rocky" Huston JR., Roxanne (Mark) Hogenbirk, Dorita Talent, Sherry Lynn (Sherman) Artip, Katherine Miller, Candee Messer and Michael T. (Christy) Huston; siblings, Gloria Duey, Darlene Gaines, Nancy (David) Millar, Terry (Jeanie) Huston, Beverly (Mike) Smith, Scott (Jackie) Huston and David Huston; aunt Barb and uncle Homer; and many grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins. Visitation will be held from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 PM Tuesday, February 21, 2012 at Newcomer Funeral Home NE Chapel, 3074 E. Dublin-Granville Rd., Columbus, OH 43231. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 noon Wednesday February 22, 2012 at the funeral home. Burial at Kingwood Cemetery.
