Rodney A. Freeman Sr., 55, of Columbus, Ohio, passed away October 31, 2022. He was born on July 2, 1967 in Columbus, Ohio.
He is preceded in death by his mother Donna Freeman; grandmother, Florence "Conkie" Robson; mother-in-law, Margaret VanBlarcume; mother-in-law, Brenda Dingess; many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Rodney graduated from Franklin Heights High School in the class of 1986. He loved to watch football, especially the Cowboys. Rodney loved woodworking. He was talented at making mailboxes and figurines for family.
Surviving family includes wife, Joetta Freeman; former wife and best friend, Kathy; children, Christine Freeman, Rodney Freeman Jr., Sherrie (Cody) Lucas; four grandchildren, Erin, Landen, Colten, Hayden; siblings, Peggy Freeman, Mary (Roger) Combs, Patty (Jody) Ross, Steve (Bernice) Freeman, Larry Hutchinson; nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and many other loving friends and family members.
Rodney was a loving and devoted father and pawpaw. He will be dearly missed by all those who had the privilege of loving him.
Visitation will be held from 5pm to 7pm on Monday November 7, 2022 at Newcomer SW Chapel 3393 Broadway, Grove City, Ohio 43123. Services officiated by Pastor Kevin Behrer will begin at 7pm.
