Rodney Dylan Singleton

Mr. Rodney Dylan Singleton entered eternal rest on Friday, May 26, 2023. Rodney was born September 22, 1960, in Mobile, AL. He was proceeded in death by his parents Mr. Alvin Joel & Mary Elvira (Williams) Singleton. Rodney lived in Battle Creek, MI, since early childhood where he graduated high school in 1978. Later, he attended a local Community College with interest in Computer Science Technology.

Rodney Singleton served honorably in the United States Marine Corps for over 20 years serving in Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune in North Carolina, as well as service in Japan.

Rodney is survived by his sisters, Ms. Alvanita Singleton, of Columbus, OH, Ms. Angela Gant of Birmingham, AL, a brother, Mr. J Marlon Singleton of Battle Creek, MI, his nephew whom he considered his son, Mr. Joshua Singleton of Columbus, OH; brother from another mother, Mr. Ron ( Beth) Pierson, of Battle Creek MI ; nephews and nieces, Robert (Nicole) Gant, and Shuntel (Michael) Talton; great-niece, Giavanna Gant of Birmingham, AL; an uncle, Mr. Julius Singleton of Dallas, TX, an aunt, Mrs. Antoinette Singleton of Aficatown, AL; and a host of cousins, those near and dear, Ms. Brenda Fleming, Mrs. Essie (Lee) Tatum, Mrs. Marilyn (MacArthur) Sanders, Mr. Kyle (Vanessa) Singleton, Mr. Alan (Toni) Singleton, Ms. Carletta Singleton and Ms. Andria Singleton. We thank God for his life and honorable military service to the U.S.A. We were truly blessed because God chose us as his earthly family. We will forever cherish Rodney's smile and calm spirit.

Visitation will be held on Friday, June 16, 2023 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am with a Memorial Service immediately following. Burial will process to Glen Rest Memorial Gardens - Reynoldsburg, Ohio.
