Roger Parsons age 59 of Columbus, OH, passed away Friday, April 18, 2008 at his residence of cancer. Roger was a truck driver for Independence Concrete Co. and retired from Rollins Trucking Companies. Born April 27, 1948 in Columbus to the late Lee Parsons and Geraldine (Beymer) Parsons. He leaves behind loving wife Sharon; daughter, Sherry; grandchildren, Roger, Amy, Danielle, Mason, Jessica, Elizabeth, Christopher, Heather, and Erin; 2 great grandsons, Michael and Kenneth; brothers, Sketer (Rosemary) Parsons and Bobby Parsons; sisters, Ida Kimes, Mary (Bill) Miller, Marie (Walt) Jones, Martha Taynor, and Rose (Carl) Lytle; brother in-law, Brent Fout; sister in-law, Pam (Adam) Vincik and Julie (Allen) Keith. Visitation will be held Sunday, April 20, 2008 from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, Southwest Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, Ohio. Funeral services will be held Monday, April 21, 2008 at 10:00 AM at the funeral home with visitation one hour prior to services. Interment will follow at Green Lawn Cemetery.
