Ronald Allen Hill

Rev. Ronald Allen Hill, 72, of Columbus, OH went home to be with our Lord on April 23, 2012, surrounded by his loving wife and family by his side. He was born in Chillicothe, OH on April 13, 1940.

Ron is preceded in death by his parents Frank and Rosemary Hill. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Debbie, children, Lisa Hill, Steve (MeiLie) Hill, Bill Kean, Mindy Hill, Sherry Kean, sister, Michele (Bill) Carpenter and family, grandchildren, Emma Grace Kean, Shelby, Matthew, Braden, and Ian Joshua Reagle, John, Brian and Rick Hill, great-grandchildren, Haylie, Ricky, and Riley Hill.

Ron was blessed by with wonderful lifelong friends and family. Ron retired from Roadway Trucking Company after 17 years. Ron then had a calling to serve the Lord, when they packed up and headed for Texas to fulfill his dreams. Ron served as the Rev. at Palestine Church of the Nazarene. Ron loved to golf and fish. Ron touched many lives with his kind heart and spirit and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Visitation will be held from 2:00 to 4:00pm and 6:00 to 8:00pm, Friday, April 27, 2012 at Newcomer Funeral Home and Crematory, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH. Funeral services will be conducted by Rev. Wayne Beard at 10:30am, Saturday, April 28, 2012 at West Broad Church of the Nazarene, 431 Amity Road, Galloway, OH 43119. Burial will follow in Sunset Cemetery, Galloway, OH.

Memorial contributions may be given to Darby Glen Nursing Home or to Tridia Hospice, 4787 Tremont Club Drive, Hilliard, OH 43026. The family would like to thank the staff at Darby Glen Nursing Home and Tridia Hospice for all of their excellent comfort and care.
