Ronald W. Borton

Ronald W. Borton, 85, died November 30, 2023, at Abbington of Powell. He was born July 12, 1938, in Bryan, Ohio to Leslie W. and Doris L. Borton. He was a proud graduate of West High School, January class of 1957 and retired from GM after 32 years. He served in the Ohio Army National Guard for 9 years, and was a member of Magnolia Masonic Lodge #20, Columbus, Ohio. He was a lifelong OSU Buckeye fan and loved watching them on Saturdays.
He is survived by his children, Elizabeth Sue Buller, Donald W. (Melanie) Borton, Doris Ann "Dody" (Michael) Myers and Teresa Baker. Grandchildren – Katherine (Christopher) Reeb, Stephen (Corrine) Borton, Natalie Buller, Hope Borton, Samuel Borton and Anna Leslie Borton. Sisters- Sharon (Tim) Mitchell, Carol (Brian) Babcock. Many sisters and brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews and cousins will miss him. Special cousin, Clyde (Ann) Taylor, and his favorite cats Oscar and Honey.
He is preceded in death by his parents, his sister Marilyn Lawson, and his beloved wife, Wendy (Eula).
Visitation and Services will be held on Wednesday December 6th, 2023 at the Chapel at Sunset Cemetery, 6959 W Broad St, Galloway OH, starting at 10 am. Masonic Service at 11:15 am, Funeral Service at 11:30 am, and interment immediately after.
Flowers are requested to be delivered to office at Sunset Cemetery by 9 am on Weds.
