Ronald Cottrill, 69, of Grove City, passed away Wednesday, September 15, 2010 at Mt. Carmel West. He was born November 12, 1940, in Pickerington, son of the late John and Thelma Cottrill. Ron proudly served in the U.S. Navy and retired as a police officer from the Ohio State University Police Department with over 25 years of service. He is survived by his wife, Betty McNeal Cottrill; sons, Mike (Yolanda) and Scott (Melissa) Cottrill; brothers, Jim (Joyce) Cottrill and Butch (Cathy) Cottrill; loving Grandpa of Samantha, Joey, Doak and Jordan. Visitation will be Sunday, September 19, 2010 from 2:00-5:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway Grove City. Funeral service will be Monday, September 20, 2010 at 10:00 AM at the funeral home. Interment will be in Sunset Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, Central Region Office- FRAN 870 Michigan Ave. Columbus, OH 43215 or Mt. Carmel Hospice c/o Mt.
