Ronald G. Denney, 75, of Columbus, Ohio, passed away January 15, 2022.
He was born in Columbus, OH on August 1, 1946 to Charles and Mildred (Mather) Denney.
He is preceded in death by his father, mother, step-father Jack Cole; his sisters, Carol Ann Denney, Beverly Carr; brothers, Tommy Cole, Rodney " Mike" Denney; paternal and maternal grandparents.
Surviving family includes his sister Janet (Tim) Cole Hawxhurst, FL; his sisters Sandy (Chuck) Pyett, Shari (Jesse) Mash; brother, Charles "Butch" Denney; brother-in-law, William Carr; sister-in-law, Sharon Cole of Marengo, OH; nieces, Michelle (Larry) Roberts, Kim Smith, both of Florida, Tina Carr, Dina Carr, Kathy (Glenn Spears) Hunter , Karin (Scott) Carr Patton (loving caregiver), all of Columbus, Ohio and Emily (Jamie) Cummings, of Mount Gilead; nephews, Benjamin (Angie) McGuire, Aaron McGuire, both of Columbus, Ohio and Jason Cole, of Marengo, Ohio; many great and great great nieces and nephews, as well as his best friend Mike (Bessie) Black of Cardington.
Ronnie loved all of his family, especially all his nieces and nephews, great and great great nieces and nephews.
He was an avid car enthusiast as he loved going to car shows, collecting model cars and he loved watching scary movies with his nephew Scott. His favorite movies were Smokey and the Bandit and American Grafitti. He loved watching anything and everything with Taylor Swift, Taylor Swift was his idol!
He loved fishing, sitting on the back porch and talking to everyone, picnics, eating cherry pie, and spending time with his family.
Ronnie attended Maize Road Baptist Church.

A Visitation will be held on Monday, January 24th, 2022 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3047 East Dublin Granville Road, Columbus - OH. Funeral Services will be held after a Second Visitation, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am, immediately afterwards on Tuesday, January 25th, 2022. Burial will take place at Green Mound Cemetery - Kilbourne, OH.
