Ronald Lee Gillenwater I, lost his courageous battle with cancer at home with family and loved ones, Saturday, November 4, 2006. Born December 9, 1947, to the late Lowen I. and Gladys E (Gillenwater) Irby, in Huntington WV., Ron graduated from Central High School in the class of 1965 and served in the US Army in Bad Kissinger, Germany. Survivors include his daughter, Danielle (James) Dotters and children; son, Ronald Lee Gillenwater II and children; sister, Patricia Sadler and daughters; uncle, Jack Broce and children; and companion, Vicky Sagraves and children; best " Buckeye Nut Friend", Dan Ryan Jr; great nieces and nephews and countless amount of people he kindly and lovingly befriended in his 58 years. Ron had a passion for sports and was a huge fan of the Ohio State Buckeyes. Ron's hope was that the Buckeyes go all the way. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 8, 2006, 4:00 - 6:00 p.m. with the service following at the Newcomer Funeral Home, 3393 Broadway, Grove City.
