The Reverend Ronald E. Grindley, "Ed", 76, of Grove City, passed away January 7, 2007 at his home. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ronald and Cora A.(Armes) Grindley; sister, Marilyn Watson and brother, Roger Grindley. Ed is survived by his loving wife, Leila; daughters, Connie Milhem, Lori Grindley; son, Ryan (Michelle) Grindley; stepdaughter, Carla (Greg) Balnoschan and stepson, William (Betty) Ayers. Ed is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; sister, Wanda Grindley; brother, Ted (Dee) Grindley; numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Ed spent 40 years as a Nazarene minister and was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He loved hunting and fishing but his greatest love was for the Church. He was always telling stories to make others laugh. Ed was loved and will be missed by his family and friends. Visitation will be held 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-8:00PM Wednesday, January 10, 2007 at Newcomer Funeral Home, Southwest Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, Ohio. Funeral services will be held 1:00PM Thursday, January 11, 2007 with visitation from 12:00PM until time of services at Grove City Church of the Nazarene, 4770 Hoover Rd., Grove City, Ohio. Dr. J.W. Lambert will be officiating with interment at Pleasant Cemetery, Mt. Sterling, Ohio. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Grove City Church of the Nazarene.
