Ronald Shilling, 72, of Grove City, passed away Thursday, March 11, 2021 at St. Ann's.
He was born April 25, 1948 in Springfield, son of the late Bernard and Barbara Brown Shilling.
In addition to his parents, Ronald was preceded in death by his son, Matthew.
He was a decorated soldier who served during the Vietnam Conflict.
He was also an avid fisherman and always enjoyed telling a good joke.
Ronald is survived by his wife, Shirley Lilly (Lemon) Shilling; daughter, Michelle; grandchildren, Cody, Chelsea, Kaitlyn & John; cousin, Dick (Darlene); dear friends, Al Rose and Becky Hood, Stepsons, Dan Lemon, Todd (Robin) Lemon, Chad Lemon, Tim (Crystal) Lemon, as well as many other grandchildren, great grandchildren and numerous other family members.
Visitation will be Saturday, March 27, 2021 from 3:00-4:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway Grove City, with the memorial service beginning at 4:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project P.O. Box 758517 Topeka, KS 66675.
