Ronald Gene Sturm

Ronald Gene Sturm, 77, of Johnstown, Ohio passed away September 26, 2024. Ronald was born August 14,1947 in Thomas, West Virginia to Hershel and Delcie (Smallwood) Sturm. 

Ronald served 20 years in the United States Army. He was an active member of The Clover Valley Church. He also enjoyed going to Maryland and North Carolina. 

Ronald will be deeply missed by his sister Dorothy (Russell) Sturm Christy. His children Michelle (Kevin) Rooney, Kendra Reiss, Mike (Jackie) Hays and numerous grandchildren, great- grandchildren, nieces and nephews. 

Ronald was preceded in death by his wife Dixie Hays Sturm of 34 years, parents Hershel and Delcie, brothers Richard, David, John, sister Sharon and his son in law Steve Reiss. 

Visitation will be October 3, 2024 from 10:00am until the time of service at 11:00am with Pastor Brian Smith Officiating at the Clover Valley Church 5669 Clover Valley Rd Johnstown, Ohio. Burial will follow at Glen Rest Cemetery 8029 E main St. Reynoldsburg. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to The Parkinson’s Foundation.
