Thivener
Ronald G. Thivener, 51 of Glouster passed away unexpectedly Friday November 4, 2005 at O'Bleness Hospital in Athens, Ohio. He was born on April 11, 1954 in Columbus, Ohio to Owen and Lucille (Wooten) Thivener. Ron is preceded in death by Father, Owen; both Maternal and Paternal Grandparents. He was the Owner and Operator of Quality Crews by Thivener Inc, and enjoyed collecting Indian Artifacts and Art Work; he is accredited with building stages for the famous including Pope John Paul II, and for World Youth Day in Denver, Colorado. Ron loved living in the country and raising his pets. He faithfully served his country in the U.S. Marines during the Vietnam War.
Ron is survived by his Loving and Devoted Wife of 18 years, Tiffany (Von Ins) Thivener of Glouster; Mother, Lucille (Wooten) Thivener of Glouster; Brother, Ray (Carole) Thivener of Westerville; Several Nieces and Nephews; as well as several Aunts and Uncles; along with Special Friend, Jack Hardy of Mansfield. Family will receive friends on Tuesday November 8, 2005 from 2-4 and 7-9 P.M. at Newcomer Funeral Home N. E. Chapel 3047 E. Dublin-Granville Rd. A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday November 9, 2005 at 1:00 P.M. at the Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Fairview Memorial Park, U.S. 23 North.
