Ronald E. Tipton, age 81, of Commercial Point, passed away surrounded by family on September 15, 2021. He was born on August 10, 1940, in Lancaster, Ohio to the late Orville and Kate Tipton.
Ron was a Veteran of the US Navy. He coached the Westerville Traveling Baseball team. Was passionate about Western Square and Round dancing with Ramona, had a passion for horses and his dogs Smokey and Baby Girl. He will be missed by many loved ones.
Ron is survived by his wife of 13 years, Ramona (Jarvis) Tipton; children, Rick, Tony (Bonnie) and Ron Tipton Jr.; grandchildren, nieces, nephews and good friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Robert and Richard; previous spouses Wanda and Jean Tipton.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Ron's memory to Mt. Carmel Hospice, 1144 Dublin Rd, Columbus, Ohio 43215.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, October 2, 2021, from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m., at First Baptist Church, 3301 Orders Road, Grove City, 43123. A memorial service will begin at 2 p.m. Pastor Jerry Neil will officiate.
