Ronald E. "Ron" Wilson, 58, of Westerville, passed away Friday, June 21, 2013 after a long illness surrounded by his loving family and friends.
He was born December 19, 1954 in Youngstown, son of the late Lowell E. and Eunice (Collins) Wilson.
Ron is survived by his wife, Linda (Hiltabiddle) Wilson; children, Sarabeth (Jared) Balzano, Timothy Wilson and Emily (Rhen) Daffin; brothers, David (Cecelia) Wilson, Thomas (Sheila) Wilson and Kenneth (Christine) Wilson; grandsons, Jacob and Carsten Balzano; mother of his children, Elizabeth Luther and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be Sunday, June 30, 2013 from 3:00-5:00 PM at New Life Church, 3690 N. Stygler Rd. Gahanna, with the memorial service beginning at 5:00 PM.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Newcomer Funeral Home NE Chapel, 3047 E. Dublin-Granville Rd. Columbus.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the church or the Alzheimer's Association, Central Ohio Chapter 1379 Dublin Rd. Columbus, Ohio 43215.
Ron was a longtime member of New Life Church and served in the orchestra for many years. He was also an avid fisherman, hiker and camper, loving husband, proud father and grandfather that will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege to know him.
