Ronald "Ray" Wysong
December 1, 1935 — October 14, 2023
Ronald Ray Wysong, age 87, of London Ohio, born in Nitro West Virginia to the parents of Frank and Tressie Wysong. Ray passed away at home after a long illness. He went to be with the Lord on Saturday October 14, 2023.
Ray retired from General Motors/Fisher Body after 30 years of employment. He attended the Life of Christ Fellowship in West Jefferson. He loved to sing and play his guitar. Ray built several cabins and loved the outdoors. He was an avid hunter.
Ray is proceeded in death by his brothers Kenneth and Lowell Wysong, and sister Peggy Cruise.
Ray is survived by his loving wife Bernice of 65 years, sister Juanita Vanmeter, children Cindy (Jim) Ward and Debbie (Scott) Johnson, grand children Kristina Ward, Kevin Ward, and Taylor Johnson.
His wife would like to give a special thanks to his care giver Sherry Burkhard, Pastor Isaac Shupe, Pastor Bob Steinbrecher and life long friend Al Hively.
The family will receive friends and family on October 19th, 2023 from 5-7pm at Newcomer - Grove City. 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH 43123. A service will be held on October 20th, 2023 at Life in Christ Fellowship at 1pm with a viewing beforehand at 12pm. 500 OH-142, West Jefferson, OH 43162. A graveside service will follow at Alton Cemetery.
